Based in beautiful Bradford on Avon, our team has many years of experience running successful businesses.   Our office environment is designed specifically to promote collaborative thinking, and we love spending time with our clients to understand what makes them tick and what they need to achieve. Far from the typical "Business Coach" or "IT Consultant", we seek to build lasting relationships with our clients and never simply “work to spec”.

We know consultants and coaches have a reputation for being quite staid and technical in their language, and this is where our team is different.  We are not ex-support engineers who have moved into ‘consultancy’ by default – instead we provide real business and technology experts who bring experience, enthusiasm and credibility.

Founding partner James Eades leads Metis Technology, drawing on a strong 20+ year background in business IT having developed a multi-award-winning IT support provider which services businesses throughout the UK, having been founded over 25 years ago.  On top of technical experience he brings considerable business acumen, having won "Entrepreneur of the Year in 2022" in the Great British Business Awards, being Highly Commended by the Institute of Directors in their Young Director of the Year award, included in the prestigious "42 Under 42" list, and worked as a business mentor via Metis Technology, through the Institute of Directors, the government's Help to Grow: Management scheme and through Bath Spa University.  He has delivered business and technology advice internationally to companies of all sizes, and it was his passion for marrying business planning and goals with technology strategy that led to Metis Technology being created in 2013. He is an active non-Executive Director and business mentor, alongside running The Asteria Group of businesses.

We feel that Metis Technology is ideally placed to deliver effective, business focused mentoring, coaching and technology strategy quite unlike any other ‘IT Consultancy’ we’ve seen.
